At first I thought it was a low flying jet but on closer inspection I can see that it was one of the super laps Subaru's. I didn't even lift off to let him past and he passed me like I was standing still

I found out that the Subaru that's in the video is running between 1000-1200bhp

Well I've not posted an update in a while so I thought I would add some new pictures. I haven't done much to the car, I've broken a few bits and pieces since my last update  one of the top mount studs for my coilovers has snapped off and my 19s are now too buckled to drive on so I'm now running with my track wheels until I get some new 18s. I've also booked a trip to the Nurburgring in the next few weeks so I will put up some videos :D one of the guys I'm going with has a n55 135i with the bmw performance package so I'm going to try and do a few 0-60 and rolling start acceleration comparison videos for anyone who interested.

Just back from my weekend at the Nurburgring, what an incredible place! I've never seen so many nice cars in one place  I had no idea about the layout of the track or what lines to take but I still had fun. We had a couple of reasonable laps chasing my friend in his 350z as he knows the track fairly well.

Just back from another trackday at knockhill. My wheel speed sensor didn't arrive in time so I decided to take out the fuse that controlled the ABS unit so I still had full braking, this turned out to be a pretty bad idea  The car was a real handful all day and was very very unpredictable when hard on the brakes, I discovered later on in the day that I had a sticking passenger side rear calliper that sent me into the gravel at about 80mph  luckily the car didn't have any damage and I had a fun day wrestling with the car.

Here's a quick vid of one of the sessions:
