Another little update. I decided to save myself some money and paint the existing chrome grills on the front of the car.

After

Then I gave the car the obligatory daily clean, I have terrible ocd when it comes to cleaning my car

I head back to work on Thursday for two weeks so I will be plotting my next mod for my return!

Ha you honour me Sir.

But it's true, I'm pretty sure I've only seen a 125i M sport and a 125i SE. I've seen a couple verts and a few passing 125i's on the road. Rare it would seem.

Look forward to seeing a few more now we have some more beauties.

Just tried looking up the production figures but only seem to be able to find e82 as a total. No breakdown of model type. No doubt someone will find them somewhere on the World Wide Web. Too late for me to continue as I am up early for work 2moro  zzzzzzzz

My dads pal is a mechanic for Bmw and he says the 125i is quite a rare bird. I think the next mod is going to have to be the p torque remap, it's going to be a real ball ache driving all the way there but I'm sure the drive home will be fun!

Have you got the same figures for the 130i mate ? Just as a matter of interest :)
Don't understand that graph though. Why does it go up to 1112 but then say 722 in total ?

Have a look here golfer - https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/vehicle/bmw_130i_m_sport

Because they changed to the hatchback 125i Fxx series in March 2012 I highlighted the change from E to F series.

Ah I see. So not much difference between the two then. 722 to 811. I thought the difference would be bigger. ie far more 130's

So another little update today, I ordered a boot lip spoiler from eBay. It was only £70 painted so I wasn't expecting too much from it but I'm very pleased with the results! Fitment and colour match are pretty good.

Next mod should be with me in the next couple of days, this is the one I'm most excited about! Found a well priced second hand Quaife diff for my car so that will be getting fitted shortly :spotman: then it will be some bc coil overs and some decent race pads. Once all that's done I'm going to start doing track days again, quite nervous about taking her out on track though!

My second hand diff arrived today, I can't wait to get it on the car and see what it's like. I've been quoted £400 to install it, not sure if that's the going rate or not, anyone got any experience with fitting one and the costs?

Nice buy with the diff! Was this the one recently on Gumtree?
