Yeah it's the one from gumtree, the guy was a very nice chap and very helpful. He had had it on his z4 for 10,000 miles so there should be plenty of life in it still. I'm dying to get it fitted but I'm away at work for another 3 weeks :(

Well my splitter arrived today and I finally got round to making my side blades! The side blades were a pita to make, Perspex is horrible stuff to work with :x the splitter wasn't the best fit also but with a lot of swearing and screws it fits not too bad.

Apologies for the pictures, used my phone to take them and didn't notice the lighting wasn't great for seeing the splitter and side blades but you get the general idea of what it looks like. Rear diffuser is next on the shopping list :D

Cheers twenny, it does make quite a big difference to the front of the car when you see it in the flesh. The side blades are still a work in progress as I can't get them to sit level when I tighten up the fixings :x

Car is looking good mate!

Where did you get your front splitter from? I love the aggressive look, sort of what I'm looking for now :D

Thanks mate :) I got the front splitter from American eBay. I think it was about £200 with the import tax and delivery. It didn't fit the best so it required a lot of screws to get it to fit to the shape of the bumper.

Did you get your diff installed? Any feedback on how the car is after the install?

I made an offer to the guy on Gumtree and you got it just before I did :P

He was selling it for a great price so I couldn't resist! I've still not had it fitted as I've been away working for about 6 weeks now, it's also a lot more expensive than I expected to get it fitted. I've been quoted £400!

I'll buy it off you if you decide not to install it ;)

I've finally got some spare time now so I took my side blades off and sanded them down and reapplied the filler to the joins for the fins. Then repainted them matte black, quite happy with the results now. I also had to put some sticky window beading tape along the underside of the side skirts so the side blades now sit level :)

Fitted and painted my new rear diffuser, also added some new exhaust tips as the old ones were well past their best!

So I've not done much to the car for a while now as I've been pretty busy at work. I finally got round to wrapping the interior as I'm not a big fan of the metal trim in the car, I also treated myself to a new knob for xmas. I have also booked myself in to P Torque in the beginning of January to get the car remapped :spotman: really excited to see what it's like with the remap!
