Hello! Question regarding the CIC controller. :) Did you need to trim the centre console to get it fit? I just got the controller and the frame for it and test fitted it quickly and it lights up and works well, but just won't sit in the console so that probably needs some dremeling.

How was it with yours, if I may ask? :) All info appreciated.

Hi,
Yeah i had to cut off some small edges here and there...but i dont remember exactly anymore tbh...

But it defenately didnt fit perfectly out of the box so to say...

Just a little trim needed tho...no worries!

I suspected this was the case, but better ask before doing something irreversible. Trimming won't be a problem.

Thank you very much for the info!
Yeah its just a small piece ,no problem.

Welcome mate,

There going to look great behind your wheels. I love your alloys they look great but being so open they do show off the fugly callipers too much for my liking.

They look in great nick by the way.
Cheers mate,

Yeah i cant wait to get these on...but not only the looks, more important for me is i can brake from top speed several times in a row in the Autobahn in Germany without fading....
The standard brakes are good for 2 or 3 times ,but the next is horrible...

So,cant wait to test them out!!!

Well done Mark the cars looking fantastic. Two questions though.

You mention slight rubbing in another tread is that from the rear?

Why not 12mm on the front cos that looks damn close to your beautiful callipers?

Love your car keep it coming.
Thanks mate!

Yeah the rear tyres now rub against inside of the wheel arch where the rear bumper meets the fender ... so on the left side of the wheel arch if you look at the car from the right side...and vice versa on the other side of the car.
Its not mutch ,so i am looking into widening the arches 5mm by a specialist here in Holland....
I could go 1 smaller size tyre, but i love the look of the car as it is right now!!!!

Yeah thought about 12mm at front but then its also likely to rub when wheels are full lock left and right...
So it is only just clearing the calipar, but clear is clear...so thats fine ;-)

So work still in progress...haha
