Welcome. Nice looking example you got there.
What are the values of 130i's like over there?
Thanks,

Well if you want to buy a car like mine from 2009 with around 90.000 miles it will set you back around 17.500,- euros...

There are about 4 of those for sale in Holland,so yeah, pretty rear car!!

Prices for good clean models seem to go up tho...some say it has become a bit of a legend this car :D :eek2:

That's a really clean 130i. Interested to know how rare 130i are in holland compared to the UK which they seem really rare.

Yeah same here, around 20 for sale, but from those 20 only 5 or 6 are very clean and lci models...

The others are 2005 2006 models with more than 125.000 miles on them.

So yeah,to find a good one is difficult...was lucky to find a very clean dealer maintanaced car like i did.. :)

Sweet looking ride, and you've done some perfect mods.

Curious, where you have done the camber alignment pin mod? I want to do this myself too but my specialist is a bit hesitant to start drilling away at the pin.. (I'm from Utrecht btw :).
It's an easy mod to do yourself. Some pins just pull out, where as others need drilling.
There's a guide in the 'how to' section on this forum.

Yeah I've seen the DIY howto's, but I have two left hands so to speak when it comes to doing stuff like this myself. Also, as you then set your wheel with more negative camber you have to re-align anyway right? So that's why I'd like to do that all at once just to make sure I don't f*** up :)

You did it yourself?

Hey,

Yes i did it myself, just get the right size steel drill,be very carefull not to damage the paintwork around the hole.
Then i drove the wheel on a slight ramp/sidewalk and the whole strut just flipped to the max negative camber...tighten up the screws, done!

I did do a re-alignment after, but was due to do it anyway(always once per year...)

Its easy, just be patient and carefull.

Yeah real easy with cans...you start with applying it rear thin, and re do that 5 times...then its really smooth and perfect.
then i finished it off with the gloss transparent dip,to make it shine a little...the more of that you applie the more it becomes shiny..

And the best thing is, if you dont like it you just tear it off.

and yes it does scratch a little ...but so does normal paint

For who likes to hear the difference (recorded with a phone camera....)between a stock exhaust and one with the mid resonator replaced by an y-pype ....here you go:

stock 130i:

stock 130i with mid resonator removed :

there is a slight drone at highway speeds...but nothing irritating.
tunnels tho...are a freeking blast!!
and all that for 150,- euro's!! (in todays money  130,- odd pounds!)

i drove next to an 130i with the performance exhaust the other day...he asked if i had the Milteck...i explained,he whas not happy he payed 600,- euro for the performance one...at all !!

a bargain i say!

Ordered the Bilstein B12 pro kit today...fitting soon!

Cant wait,my m-sport suspension was getting weak and floaty on higher speeds...not strange as they are 8 years and 100k old...

Update when fitted!
