Build lots of windmills, start sex at 12 years old, ride bikes, watch sex shows, grow tulips and eat Edam cheese

Btw, the clogs and weed sounds like a perfect 'other' life. :rotfl:

Whas time to give some love to my car...

I had an engine flush done ,new oil and filter ,new coolant fluid, injectors and fuel system cleaned.

Last time i changed oil was 8.000 miles ago, looking onder the oil cap the coulor looked still good....but after the flush i was amazed about the black crap that came out !!!! omg, looked like as if the oil wasn't changed for years

So now the engine is in top condition again and purrs like a kitten :)

Instead of the usual 5w30 i went with 5w40 oil ,should be a bit better for the engine now its done 100.000 miles...it runs super duper smooth now!

This morning an appointment was cancelled,so what does one do?... :

I like the pedals, I found that the BMWP pedals made heal and toeing easier, I think having less rubber on the pedal makes it easier to slide your foot around. I might need to buy a stainless foot rest as the BMWP kit doesn't come with one.

You'll have to polish the pedals when you polish the exhaust tips.

I'm going to do this to mine later in the year.

Yes very true!! this indeed makes heal and toe easier also because the gas pedal is now a little bit more towards me cause you put the metal one on top of the standard one...you dont have to put your foot in such an extreme angle to reach the gas padal anymore...

So am well pleased with that...lets hope the looks of these grow on me a little bit more and i will be really happy.. :D

So had the Whiteline KDT918 inserts fitted this morning!

Took the mechanic 32 minutes to fit them!!! instead of the hour plus i read about! :D

First impressions:

WOW what a difference it makes!!
The light swinging of the rear (axle tramp i believe they call this...)is almost completaly gone(i guess with m3 bushings it would be eleminated, but this comes really close!! and that for 100,- euro incl fitting!!)especially when going into the corner at higher speed the rear settles immediately!
At highspeed braking the rear is also massively more stable!

So now my Bilstein B12 kit really comes 'alive' and i can feel the difference between this setup and the standard m-sport much better!

So all in all a positive experience so far!

Happy chappy here! :D

Sorry digging up an old post, but theres not many silver hatches on here so love seeing what others have done.

How long did it take for your diffuser to dry? Im interested in doing it but rarely get 24 to let it dry
