Needing to have the rad changed is rotten luck, it really is! As Paul has said, I hope your wallet hasn't been hit too hard. My last car was brand new and didn't have any problems. Fingers crossed for trouble free motoring ahead!
It wasn't too bad in the end ...Still disapointing but it is what it is. I have enjoyed the car plenty since, but it is in the back of my mind now how fragile the rad seems to be.
Also had 2x punctures as well
Seem to be super unlucky so far. Nevermind, they say bad things happen in 3's... so hopefully I've had my lot for a while (famous last words)
I only ask, as I found the RFT's on my 123d attracted punctures like no tomorrow, although this topic was broached in another thread and someone claimed almost the opposite, so I suppose it could simply be down to bad luck, although I've not suffered trouble with my MPSS - apart from one having a roofing bolt go straight through the tyre; long story .....

Arh mate, thats bad luck.
Yeah on MPSS's. Nice and grippy, just obviously the SS also stands for super soft as well as super sports
As I say, fingers crossed that it was just bad luck, and that I've had my fair share now so hopefully its someone else turn now ( sorry if that turns out to be anyone here)
Still love the car though ! What a weapon! :drive:
After nearly a 1.5 years of ownership, I decided to treat her to a proper wash... with a clay bar detailer and polish after.
Surprising how dull it had become in that relatively short time.
I gave it a Autoglym shampoo by hand then the detail clay bar, then the polish and I dont think it came out too bad. Its hard to see in the photos, but there was a noticeable difference to the naked eye.
Must have removed a fair bit as the clay bar was filthy when I was done. ...
Actually, yeah.... over 60mph lots of extra noise, not massively impressed... I personally love how they look, and really want them, but not sure about the extra noise...
I think I need to refit them anyway, I noticed a little bit of water on the inside after a pressure wash where the little clips are so I obviously haven't quite got it right .
Have you got deflectors and had any issues ?
And cheers,
Took a good few hours, but needed a refresh and the detail and polish worked a treat.
No I don't have the deflectors myself but was thinking of installing them. I don't have a sunroof and was hoping this would be a way to open the windows slightly to let some exhaust noise in without the wind noise but not if it adds more wind noise!
What the hell happened to the old car?
Clearly not enough to put you off I guess?
