Show us your spoilers E81/E87

Post by Joe.. » Wed May 03, 2017 12:49 pm

As above. I fancy adding a spoiler but can't decide what one. Might be worth creating a sticky thread?

The Aero doesn't do it for me, performance does but I'm not a fan of carbon fibre (well I am, just not on my car!)

So aftermarket seems to be the way to go.

Any photos will be greatly appreciated!

Cheers

I'm interested in this too. The Aero looks good on the E81 to me but not on the 5 door.

There's a car near me with the performance spoiler (or a copy) and that looks stuck on too :-(

99% of people go Aero.

There's a couple of different examples on here: http://www.pacificie-tuning.com/Aerodyn ... 56925.html
Silver F21 M135i - ManBox - HK - Adaptive + Eibach Pro's - BBS CH-R's - BMWP Drexler LSD - TMC Piggyback - M4 LCA's - aFe Dry Filter

I'd like something really subtle like the F20 performance spoiler.

Nicked85 - That looks very nice. Could pass as OEM!

Can you tell me the model please? The Aero would be perfect if it had a little lift to it!

I've done the usual Google search... doesn't compare to seeing actual photos.

Cheers all

I got a while back when it was £100 ish. It will need prepping priming and painting but fit is really good :)

Lift where? I think the aero would look nice with a little flick, like CSL style. I have the aero on mine and it's one of the best mods I've done.

That what's I mean, lift / flick towards the rear. There is a 3D design one but it looks a bit too aftermarket for my liking!

Hello all, this is my first post on the site after purchasing a 08 123d MSport auto 5dr recently. I love the car and the only thing ( at the mo!) I would like to do is to add the rear spoiler that I believe is called an aero spoiler? and to upgrade the 207m alloys with 208m's. Could anyone point me in the right direction / offer advice on best place to purchase the spoiler ( do they come painted?) and if there is a specific section for people selling wheels on the site?
Thank you in advance and sorry if I am in the wrong section!
Ash

Welcome to the site Don32. The best people to contact regarding the spoiler is cotswold. They're a forum sponsor. Top of the list of many. Probably plenty on ebay but can't comment on fit etc. They don't come painted.
As for the wheels 208 s are popular and for good reason. They look great on a 1 series. There is a for sale /wanted section but I think you need 20 + posts to access . Be warned though it can get very expensive very quickly!
130i se. Sparkling graphite metallic. Xenons darklines bmwp intake and roof spoiler. Now with added 313 goodness.

Thank you so much for the response Pem10. I can imagine it will be addictive! I will call Cotswolds next week and keep trawling the net for 208's at a reasonable price then hope to participate enough to access to the wanted/roar sale section. Thanks again!
