What exactly are you trying to fit on the rear of 125i ? There are a few differences on them cars which make rear brake swaps a bit tricky!

Thanks for the quick reply.

Ive got a brand new set of 235i calipers ready to mount up. Seems the front are straight bolt on even the sensor can be re-used. But the rear 125i rear calipers are left with some different gap that its not suitable to use. Because the hand brake hat does not touches the rotor so i would practically loose the handbrake :(. Im trying to follow this guide (i know its for the 130i) but maybe because the 125i coupe and the 130i share the same platform and calipers ill try to first.

1.- get the 5 series rotors
2.-i would have to expand the rear hubs holes like you guys did
3.- mount them up and see if the handbrake touches the rotors

You wont easily fit those calipers onto a 125i due to differences in the rear hub compared to my old 130i, even on that it took me awhile to find a disc that would work and also pads needed some trimming to make neat, easiest thing would be to sell the 235i calpers etc and buy E82 135i rear end with hubs, shafts and brakes etc, im sure the 235i setup could be made to work but getting a suitable disc to match up to calipers and work with handbrake could be a mission!

Just bagged a pair of front M235i calipers for my 130i. Looking forward to seeing them behind my 436m's😎. Surprised how pricey the matching discs are. Anyone had any good deals? Fancied a set of grooved or drilled ones but they're £400 plus a pair. Will likely just stick to a pair of aftermarket stock ones.

Will do cheers for the heads up. Going to leave the rears stock and just refurb seems a bit too much fuss to swap them.

I've Just got a Full set of M135i brakes (with discs and pads with less than 7k on them for £600!) for my 130i but from the looks of it I think I will leave the rears as it looks like it will be a bit of a faff and I'll just clean up my rear calipers and stick with the standard discs and pads.

Just want to check what was the clearance like on the 208M wheels on the front? can I get away with not having any spacers?

& If anyones interested in the M135i rears they are available with discs and pads

Wanted - 135i rear calipers - BMWP Exhaust - Birds B1 & Quaife LSD - Re-Map

Thats a good buy! the prices of these has got to start to increase soon!....fronts are easy as you say and im sure the 208 wheels clears ok, at very most a 2mm slip on spacer but sure they go on without.

Rears are a faff but possible with different discs as i did, the F series discs no good for E8x series cars due to handbrake but sure someone with a M135i will take them off you.

I used 135i rear calipers on mine and they work a treat ! They bolt straight on using the performance disks from BMW , just on looks along they are worth it.

I'm in the process of gathering the parts to do this conversion. I've got a pair of 340mm front discs but have now hit a stumbling block. I had already got hold of a m235i OSF caliper and been busy tracking down a NSF.

Saw one on eBay this week but it turns out its a different caliper being from a 330d. I assumed wrongly they were the same but it's not. The stamp on it states its suitable for a 370mm disc and the mounting holes are slightly taller.

Question being will the bigger caliper fit on my 130i or is it too big? In which case I will end up selling this one on again and stick with the smaller set up as originally planned.

If it's stampsed 370 it's the wrong caliper

I'm aware it's the wrong caliper. Is the 370 version a no go on the 130i with 18s or has no one tried it before?
