Yes, great laps, as I said earlier I was really impressed at how fast yours and Mark's 130's were. Also great to see my ugly rump appearGraearea said:
Complety agreee, a fantastic day and great to have such a good turnout.godzilla said:git-r2 said:Also wanted to mention the racechipped PWG m135 is as quick in a straight line as M140 and 370 bhp focus RS
How did the car feel after you adjusted the camber?Graearea said:Tripod!

Yep, Christian drives like a true racer, i.e. he doesn't give a sh1t about his car!git-r2 said:Complety agreee, a fantastic day and great to have such a good turnout.godzilla said:git-r2 said:Also wanted to mention the racechipped PWG m135 is as quick in a straight line as M140 and 370 bhp focus RS
Lol, I'm not sure about quicker round the corners, maybe more intent on killing tyres
I also found the stock pads fine, only upgraded to the M4 stuff because they're the same money but they do offer better performance.
Christian .. what he lacks in talent he makes up for in understeer! - he's racing his R32 GTR this year in CSCC. I'm going to reuctantly suggest that it will definitely be worth watching him. He has absolutely no mechanical sympathy whatsoever. And his old Nissan will be doing 40 min races
You know the answer to the tuning question already, I'm surprised it's taken you this long
What do you want me to do with your footage? I could just upload it to my channel? Not sure if I can email it as it's a big file.
Agreed!deanw said:The World Series needs to broaden its horizons and come up north!git-r2 said:I'll be a whore and make a separate thread for vids, hopefully this will encourage more folk to come to our next BabyBmw World Series

Will PM re my onboard footage.
BTW, where do we see the photos? I couldn't see anything obvious on the Javelin site.
Not only is the wheel off the ground, look at the OSR tyre off the rim! Great cornering!Graearea said:Tripod!

Great videos. By god you turn in early to so some of the tighter corners which seems to correlate with how much tail wagging you get at the exit. Makes for great watching [emoji106]git-r2 said:Finally finished my vids:

Here's my pics not sure if this link works tho
Waiting for a lead to turn up then I can post videos up.
M3 front arb, YOUR old rear so it's all your fault! Ha ha. Bc shocks. Not sure which or shat springs. Brakes were really good. No fade all day and a little more power than I was comfortable using. Especially once the tyres were warm as they started overheating the tyresTHETYRANT said:Looks like an old MK2 escort lifting the front like that! remind me what suspension and ARB are you using ? oh and how were the brakes ?Graearea said:Tripod!

Once I'd moved the top mounts in there was much less understeer as you can see from the pic seems bw chip tune had maybe moved them out when doing my rack.GeoffCollins said:How did the car feel after you adjusted the camber?Graearea said:Tripod!
Mind if I link to that video on track time?Twenny said:Tight left turn that seemed to catch a lot of people out (including myself once - see the vid below) can skip to 3:20 to see me run out of road and talent.
That was early on (my second time out on track) and was my only mistake the whole day. Apart from Mark catching my back end wiggle -
Good job I checked my mirrors on that left turn I over shot earlier and saw this guy coming in way to quick otherwise he'd of taken me out. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he made the same mistake I did and ran out of talent.
For my first ever track day it was a lot of fun and was as good as I was expecting. I learnt loads about my car and what it can (and can't do).
The car has far more talent than the driver that's for sure lol
