Hi all,

Stuck in a bit of a pickle. Followed this guide and have put everything back together but I can't get the engine to fire. It cranks but no fire. I think I might have messed up the injector cable numbering? Any ideas? Pls.

Hi,

Just note to say managed to sort this out. It was indeed the cabling on the injectors. Schoolboy error for not labeling up before disconnect. Anyone who does this, make sure you mark up the injector connectors!!!

Question, how do you remove the intake manifold? Tried to do that myself, was somehow stucked. Couldn't release it. So, what to do?

I had this on my first attempt, and gave up. But I decided to give it another go. Basically as long as you have the five bolts undone fully, it will come out. What's snagging is the hoses at the back which are held onto the intake. Also you need to be firm with it. A sharp pull towards you, should release it.

Hi,
does anyone have torque specs for two strut bar bolts (not the central one)? I found that it is 40nm somewhere, but didnt manage to find it in TIS. And also couldnt find torque spec for main thermostat to water pump.
