Tried that, there's no gap to fit a knife in, feels like I'll just scratch the paint up. Was yours an LCI?

E87 M Sport. The E81/87 M Sport bumper was never face lifted at LCI, they're all the same.

Start with the bottom two, then release the top two afterward from the top.

I wonder if destroying the old grille could be an option if there is no other way. You’d have to be really careful not to damage the bumper of course.

I remember how frustrating it was.

Good luck!
You could destroy the old grills, My neighbour replaced his grills and tried to pull them out and in the end he ripped and smashed the old ones out. Maybe i should show him this post. :D Has anyone got a link of the new gloss grills with a price?
Thanks Lee.

I got the dealer to do it the end whilst it was having some other bits done, cost me £25, much less hassle.

I replaced mine recently for black grills and they just pulled out from the front. It needed a fair bit of force and a wiggle but they came loose without doing any damage.

I was advised to try this by a paint detailer that I know and it worked :D
