But there is no specific service interval on it?

Not that I'm aware of. The EGR body needs to cleaned out occasionally too, but it never features on any BMW service schedule. Nor gearbox/diff' oil changes.

I had a problem with rear brake pads running out so I replaced them but I've got the "Vehicle check" symbol still coming up and I dont' know how to reset it.

Is there a way to reset it now that I've replaced the pads ???

Emissions test CBS light is for china vehicles only, some cars it shows up on because the numpty who pdi'd it didn't deactivate it on the settings when deleting transport mode! It's for that same reason that mot doesn't show up on some vehicles. If you want these activated or deactivated it can be done at the dealer and takes 30mins maximum

I have just purchased a 1 series but it didn't come with a handbook, there is a little triangle that appears next to the mileage is this ok or anything to worry about?

Hello and Welcome. :)

That usually means something fairly minor, like it's below 3°, you're a bit low on fuel, or a bit low low on washer fluid.

The warning does not stay there for that iirc?

I would scroll through you Obc until it says "check" and see what appears.

I have the MOT light on, is there anyway I can turn that off as it has been MOT'd and still currently is?

Hi. I have that vehicle check light come on sometimes when I switch my car on. It only comes on every so often and it resets all my clocks and mileage counters. Any ideas why this happens? It's a 118d MSport. Thanks

Stuart.

Sounds like you've got a dying/dead car battery.

Is yours roughly a 2008?
