We've seen lots of these recently.

You've got an Absorbed Glass Mat battery (aka AGM), they only have a short life.

If you replace it, don't forget to tell the car! (Have the battery charge history profile reset/'coded'.)

Everytime I start up the car now, I get a sort of 'double infinity symbol'. Basically two inter winded infinity symbols. Symbol disappears immediately though.
Not sure what it means :?

Sounds like preheating!? Does it in cold conditions to inform you there's a delayed start due to the glow plugs preheating for a second or so to aid starting

Must be, haven't seen the symbol for over a week (it has been warmer recently).
Thanks :)

So my brake warning light stays on whilst driving (with handbrake off), had a quick read up.. says various things I.e. brake pads/fluid etc.

Shouldn't my computer tell me when my pads/brake fluid need replacing. It popped up last week along with the 'vehicle check' symbol. Now both come on when I turn on the car and brake warning symbol light stays on.

Does anyone know what it could be besides pads/fluid???

THanks

Had the amber car on ramp error and handbrake amber warning light come up yesterday. To my surprise on the rear, one of the pads on the rear was on bare metal, ripped the pad sensor off, and the effect a ridge on the outer side of disc. Had to replace with new rear discs, pads and sensor.
Strange thing is no errors come up till it was completed screwed. Perhaps will help someone, maybe.
