I am working off a very slow mobile data connection "E" if anyone remembers how painful it is. So I'll make it short.

Ackers - your photo is in the wrong thread for starters, but yes, it would be excluded

Rusty - no need to bow out, you've been doing fine so far. So why would you suddenly find it difficult to abide? Your "offending" photo already qualified without the addition of lens flare, so this month's win stands.

By additions and/or removing I meant objects or pasting environments or cars into a photo to make it suitable for a given theme.

Basically, TAKE a photo for a given theme, do not CREATE it in the photoshop or similar instead.

I realize that the lines will indeed be blurred with some themes.

Anyways, if there is someone who would like to take over the photo competition, please give me a shout. Ackers? You would be a good candidate since you have a keen eye. :)

Hmmm...well I do enjoy participating usually. We'll see I guess.

I'm hardly a pro at this photography lark, just a fun hobby of mine. Don't need politics here though as there's enough of that in work

Personally i didnt look at the photo & take the flare in to consideration but more the setting & is still a great photo & should be the winner.

As for photoshopping if needed i adjust the brightness or colour balance (but thats as good as i get in PS) but not this time, i was proper happy with my attempt this time it was as i took it.

I think basic adjustments is fine but adding or layering removing isnt acceptable as it makes it more accessible to everyone rather than just expert photographers or PS masters.

Maybe we should have a other Comp which you can do anything to make a photo as good as possible, as there could be some awesome stuff posted.

Plus Iva please dont go anywhere, your doing just fine ;)
