Black Leather + White Paint... :(

Post by WiseNatcho » Sun Sep 24, 2017 10:58 am

Have just taken ownership of a slightly tired E82 and have discovered that the previous owner has managed to get patches of white (gloss?) paint on the drivers seat. Any suggestions for the best way to clean it off? - So far hot water, a general shoe leather cleaner, and WD40 have failed to make a difference.

Thanks in advance!

Depending on the paint base, alcohol might help it shift.

Usual precautions! Test a hidden area. Maybe start with something weaker like Vodka, and if that doesn't shift it, different dilutions of white spirit + water.
