hiya
i have mounted up a few products now for polishing and waxing,just wondering as ive heard of a shampoo to remove the polish n wax,i would like to do this as i have just bought some dodo juice orange crush and want the best results or should i just wash as normal with me megs mirror bright then polish nd apply the dodo juice
any advise on what would be best would be most helpfull,chrs

You'll find, if you tend towards dry skin, that head and shoulders works very well as a shower gel.

Panel wipe after washing and then apply wax, panel wipe will remove any oils and give the wax a clean surface to bond, lots of companies sell panel wipe under different names at expensive prices such as ‘wax off’ etc it’s Just panel wipe

IPA is the same stuff although don’t get confused with Indian pale ale haha

Polish would come before ipa mate as the ipa removes any oils/wax/sealants before applying the new wax unless using glaze but then you would be reducing the durability of the wax

o right,ok chrs for that,i thought the ipa would of removed the polish aswell, :roll:

It will do, the idea of polish is that it’s fine abrasive particles that actually remove a small amount of paint (well clear coat in modern paint techniques) which gives the shine and gloss by removing any fine dirt/light scratches that will absorb the light and make the panel appear dull. The ipa will remove any remaining residuals from the polish leaving a clean surface for the l.s.p (final coating be it wax or sealant) to bond onto
