What a waste of time!

Post by ad_123d_coupe » Wed Oct 25, 2017 2:06 pm

So, after washing my car thoroughly at the weekend it was filthy this morning after a long drive yesterday.

I thought i would call in at a local BP and use the jet wash just to blast off the worst of the grime and muck! I never touch the brushes so just the shampoo and the high pressure lance! 10 mins later and its just sucked in my ££ to no reward! The car is drying and there is literally no improvement!!!

When you wash your car, do you use a wax or repellent like Gtechnic?

Simply washing it wont do much to make it easier in the future and you end up with this problem.

I use Gtechnic C2 and it beads for months after and makes future washes really easy with the dirt/water just falling off the car leaving it clean.

I always keep a bottle of citrus pre wash mixed up in the boot and give it a spray with that before blasting with the lance, comes up 99% clean after with no brush going anywhere near my car

I do use waxes, but haven’t had the chance since picking up the car, so will get that done soon!

May well copy that idea and keep some citrus wash in the boot!
