Best wax that dosnt leave white residue/powder?

Post by space » Fri Apr 14, 2017 6:04 pm

Can any one recommend a wax that does not leave that white power residue when it drys out?

Fed up with scrapping it off all the time.

In my experience its unusual to see a wax do that unless its being put on quite thick.

Bilt Hamber Double Speed Wax is cheap and easy to use provided you apply thinly, if you put too much on it can be difficult to remove.

Some suggest to damped the applicator pad slightly. I've fond by using a small, soft spot pad (75-80mm) with a velcro puck allows for a thin, consistent coat to be applied.

Wax shouldn't really leave a white powdery finish? Are you sure you're not using a polish?

Either way, any good brand of wax should buff out relatively "residue free". I use AG HD wax and find it fantastic on most paint types. I've used so many different brands but always come back to it
