DRC DRM Wheels

Post by GeeDee » Thu Aug 24, 2017 7:49 pm

Hi, about to push the button on some of these and wondering if anyone has any knowledge about this make.

Looking to get the 18 x 8 ET45 & 72.6 in gunmetal.

https://www.performancealloys.com/wheel ... load=False

Will be getting some GY Assym3s and maybe consider some Alloygators too.

Thanks Marco

PITA that Photobucket removed the sharing facility.

I've got these wheels on my car look great when they're clean and they fit perfect, I got my set from one of the sites sponsors BM AutoSport at a decent price

Just mind the curbs,

They look good although the description of the ones I'm looking at is gunmetal.

BM Autosport don't seem to do these anymore - can't find any gloss grey/antracite type with reasonable ET from them at the moment.

Are these wheels more susceptable to kerbing than others then?

What size rubber do you have on them?

I'm not sure whether or not "Gunmetal" and "Graphite" are the same colour as far as I'm aware these wheels are only available in 3 colours, gunmetal/graphite , Hyper Silver and Black

It might be worth a try getting in touch with Mark from BMAutosport he should still be able to get a set in he might be able to offer a better deal?

Not more susceptible to kerbing all wheels get damaged when they hit a kerb, wheels don't have a paint code though so apparently they're had to colour match if a refurb is needed, at least that's what I was told

I've got 225/40 tyres all around on mine

Already ordered now - from Demon Tweeks who were offering what appeared to be a reasonable discount plus a further 5% for a first time order resulting in £472 total for 4No 18 x 8".

Hopefully getting them tomorrow along with some graphite Alloygators. GY Assym 3s due in a few days. :spotman:

I spoke with BMAutosport a couple of times on different size options and, whilst I didn't ask specifically, I was told what I wanted in terms of size, colour/finish and offset were not available.
