Can you confirm tyre width and profile please, 435mm sounds a bit on the wide side....
😂😂😂
Yes, intended size was 245-35-18 on 8j with et40 all round (or is that all square). Is there any doubt that this will be ok? If so, I'll probably stick with 225-40-18, on either 7.5j or 8j with 40et.

With stock wishbones, no issues. Longer M4 wishbones + ET40 +245mm = rubbing for me.

Have you looked into SuperPro Camber bushes? Not quite as effective (long) as the M4 hardware, but far cheaper.

If you decide to stay OEM (my preference on my M135i) and fit M4 TS's with M4 LCA's the nose drop of LCA's doesn't happen - priceier I know but very robust as you will have oem parts and same bushes for both pairs of lower arms.

Thanks BP,
I have pasted this quote into another thread which is probably more relevant than in a Tyres/Wheels forum. It is here:
viewtopic.php?f=74&t=104817&p=1347270#p1347270

I am interested in this - so hope to get part numbers then a quote. I am also anxious about road/tyre noise, so am suspicious of camber plates.

WRT the wheel sizes, am I correct reading that 8 inch rims, with an et40 and 435 tyres would be an ideal square setup? Even with the LCA/TS changes? If there is any doubt, I may not take the risk and stay on 225s on 7.5s

Cheers
McT
Yes if concerned about NVH then oem F8x trump camber plates IMHO.

8” wide rims et40mm with 245/35/18 tyres will work with std or m4 TS/LCA combo.

If sticking with 7.5” / 225 wide front wheel/tyres - go for XL 92Y mpss for stiffer sidewalls.

0.5 degree change.

MP,

IIRC you have M4 LCAs only so do yr front wheels sit fwd relative to the wheel arch ?

Were you getting rub/contact at the join between wing and bumper ?

McT,

Adding M4 TS's move the wheel back into centre/stock position hence why, by my reckoning, my car - even lowered - would be OK with 245/35/18 MPSS on 8" et 34mm front wheels.

I use Powerflex purple ones.. The black ones are stiffer which may introduce more NVH

I reckon they'd still rub, it would be incredibly close. I'm not confident enough to recommend that the OP spends £700 with any guarantee from me that they'd clear.

How much camber do the bushes give?

MP - OK as it's OP's call at the end of the day - my reckoning was based on clearances I'd measured on my car plus a few dialogues with the bloke who owns this VO M135i - running lower suspension but with same amount of camber as mine, wider/taller 245 front tyres on et34mm wheels...

err... 0.5 degree +/- from standard

But also got the SuperPro UK supplier phoning round looking for any retailer with SuperPro in stock - I couldn't find any. They claim 1 degree, i.e. +/- 1 degree from stock. If they come up trumps I'll get a pair ordered. If they don't find any, I'll order the PowerFlex black (cant find any reference to camber adjustable purples)

Hoss & Jahaman on here both have s'pro bushes on their lowered cars - no more than 0.3-0.5 extra negative camber gained ie same as P'flex. Not a surprise really as camber comes from offsetting bolt pass thru the poly bush so its limited by size of poly bush and geometry....

As BP has mentioned the adjustable camber bushes are -/+ 0.5 degrees adjustment which is confirmed on my lowered -25mm from stock suspension as my car is aligned at -1.22 degrees negative camber

I looked long and hard at the photos for the two types of bushes, and could not see that they were that different geometrically. So yes, expect them both to be the same. I've now got the Powerflex Black on order. No SuperPros this side of Australia - could be here middle of next week, but car goes under the knife on Tuesday. Hope the Powerflex turn up in time...

Black, wow, that was a bit brave.

I've got Blacks in the back of mine and hate them, too hard and noisy. Attacked them with a Stanley knife a couple of times already!

ARRGGGHHH!!!!

I couldn't find anything but blacks with camber adjustment, purples were central holes. Also claim only 8% harder than stock? Does it make that much difference?
