Alright great so if I go with the Wizards at 8x18 ET45 which tyre dimensions would you recommend?

And for the VMRs 8.5x18 ET40?

I'm not sure about the weights on the VMR V703s but they're probably around 22.5lbs/10.1kg which is what the V710s weigh. Either setup is lighter than stock anyway.

You can safely refit your stock tyres if you want, although the fronts will appear a little stretched.

I like to run 245/35 all round, but not MPSS as the 245/35/18 pattern doesn't clear standing water well.

Cheers, will go with 245/35 all around I think.

Unfortunately I have stock 17" 383M and almost new runflats on my 120d lci, got the car just a few weeks ago, the plan is to use winter tyres on those wheels and get rid of the runflats.

Ok as ever I’m looking for confirmation!

I’m considering18x 8.5” all round et35 with a square tyre set up 235/40/18 - cup 2’s for track days. Too pokey?!

235mm at ET35 shouldn't rub, assuming you're on stock wishbones?

All stock. I was using 15mm spacers anyway so minus them there is only a slight difference!! 235 on 8.5 shouldn’t appear ‘stretched’ should they?

Thanks again

235 on 8.5j will look slightly stretched. Perfectly safe, but next to zero rim protection so watch those kerbstones.
