I'm guessing their et43... what tyre sizes are you running?
Yup they are et43. The front tyres are 225 40 18 and the rear are 245 40 18. I'm going to change the rears to 255 35 18 next.
Looks immense! Always been a sucker for type 3's. Do you notice any rubbing? Have you got any suspension mods?

Up front I have replaced the arms and top mounts with the M3 ones. I'm also running a set of B12s with white line inserts on the rear. The set up in terms of camber etc is identical to an e90 m3.

There is no rubbing under any conditions. This includes 4 people in the car, with bags, going over speed bumps and parking. I would say the set up is near to perfect, the only thing I long for now is a LSD. If I wasn't buying a house there would be one in the 130i by now.

Are you using any spacers? I have found ac schnitzer type 2 in very good condition but not sure they will fit my e87. Wheel size are 8.5Jx18 et 42 and tyres fitted 225 40 18. Thanks

I believe that's genuine sizes, so they should be fine. The rears will look a little tucked in from the side on, with a 225 tyre though. AC Schnitzer do some spacers specifically for the rear if I recall. Have a gander on their website, you may also need their spigot rings which are the orange ones if they aren't included.

Hydroraphic Transfer for Wheels

Post by msej449 » Wed Aug 03, 2016 11:58 am

Just found this company in Dorset who do industrial and retail hydrographic transfers - not a technique I've seen before but some impressive wheel treatments:

https://www.wickedcoatings.co.uk/catego ... ars/wheels

Looks like you just send them the components, and they do the treatment and return. No idea how much it costs but the results look impressive.

However, the finish isn't great and bubbles and flakes are starting to appear after only 3 months.
