Post by Wilko135i » Mon Sep 04, 2017 8:13 pm

As the title suggests....... what map do you guys here in the U.K. Do you select when using stage 2+? I am using T99 fuel and I am not sure which map to select?

If I understand what you're getting at, you'll want the 93 Oct map (which is roughly the equiv of 99 RON over here).

You do indeed understand what I am asking. The thing is, you have 4 maps under stage 2+. You have ACN91/CAD94 then 91OCT/95RON then 93OCT/98 RON and finally 95OCT/102RON.

The one you want is 93OCT/98 RON unless you put something in to boost the octane the 95/102 map won't run properly...

I don't have MHD as I have a warranty still, but I've researched/prepped for it :)

I am guessing if you run a meth kit, in theory you can run the 98/102 map?

This is where I can't really help any further regarding meth.. I'd suggest it's not really quite the same, and probably recommended to run JB4 with backend flash with MHD, but I really don't know. The N54tech forum may be better placed for that question...

I may not go the water/meth route as I seem to be really happy with the MHD tune so far. The only thing I dislike is the tethered phone with a cable to monitor what's going on.

MHD did say they will be making a wireless kit for the phone which is what i'm gunning for too. Haven't read anything new about this yet though.

What map are you running? V7 or V6?

V7 is a smooth progressive map that doesn't overboost as much but feels more N/A power.
V6 is a punch in the teeth overboost one that's a bit more fun but also nowhere near as smooth.

If you want to run meth, that's the E85 map at the bottom, but that's as much as i know about that as in the UK, Meth is a faff.

You should be running 98 RON map if you always use 99 ron fuel like Tesco or V power.

I am running version 7 map. It seems to be targeting around 18psi. That's higher than the JB4 was targeting on map 5. It feels really smooth. May try version 6 later.
