yep, valid point. Shame you cant revo a BMW like that, seems a very popular mod for VW/Audi users, as popular as Evolve for BMW i guess....
Loading generic maps on to cars is the same for most marques. It's the fine tuning after that can take some time.
My last car was an Golf GTI Edition 30 (same engine as your mates Scirocco R) and that had Revo software. Although the software upload is the same, you can then tailor the map to suit you and your car (adjust fuelling, boost and timing) all through a switch. Cracking bit if kit to be fair.
