Hello !

I have and e87, 120d (-06) model, driven almost 200,000 kilometres.

Last winter my DPF got jammed, i got it away, and remapped the car. Expecting now having about +200HP.
unfortunately I haven't got it checked on a dynometer..

Almost a month ago my clutch started to judder. When pressing the pedal to the floor on its way it juddered, when the clutch pedal got to floor it stopped. Got it to a service, they called also the dual mass flywheel was broken.

Had both repaired, now Im thinking if the remapping did cause these problems ? Or just the cars age + driven kilometres ?

Thank you for your answers !

A remap alone will get you running 215-220hp.

We charge £395.00 for this, including dyno power runs before and after

Looking to get it remapped but there's so many places to choose from. I live in Cheshire, would ideally like somewhere within an hours drive, could anyone kindly recommend somewhere near me that would do a good job? There are loads out there but I'm looking for sonewhere that has good feedback. Thanks in advance folks.
Try Zaviz International Motorsport near Wrexham - Cross Gates. JJ did mine for £170 from 163BHP to circa 212BHP now - Its fantastic!

Google ECU Remapping - should come up straight away.

About 30bhp, 70Nm, and no change in MPG under identical usage.

If you use the extra performance (remaps swirt more fuel in), you will unsuprisingly use more juice.

Not sure how it works for the auto but there is a company in Luton that will map the 125i engine to 130i stats. As they are mechanically identical they just put the same map on and voila! 264bhp :)

Yes, the 125i is tuned to 275hp with software only. We offer this for £345.00 including dyno power runs.

Hi Josh, true figures are 10 - 15hp peak.

Overall throttle response and torque delivery on the road on the main improvements, rather than back to back full throttle power runs.
