BMW 120D SE REMAPPED BY BW CHIPTUNE

Postby alimujahid_e82 » Sun Sep 11, 2016 9:51 am

Hey guys,

I just wanted to share my thoughts on my newly remapped car.

So i booked in to get a remap done by BW Chiptune (Highly recommended)

The guys in there know BMWs inside out so i wouldn't have taken my car anywhere else...

Normally loads of people tend to do DPF delete, EGR delete etc i decided that i was happy to keep them on!

So my car got on the rolling road and the figures are detailed below:

Stock: 169.5 Bhp + 350 Nm torque
Remap: 214.2 Bhp + 460 Nm torque

Now the approx figure which i was hoping for were 225 Bhp but the reason for the slightly less figure is simply because of my DPF which needed a Regen which i have now done so by doing an hour long drive at 70mph.

The result of the remap is significant, in terms of power i can feel it has become a tad more faster and the torque to overtake or just stroll on high gears make it awesome!

Highly recommend whoever is thinking of getting their car remapped to go to BW Chiptune, they are the best people to bring out more power with accurate figures on paper to show!

(Also saw Dj Troopa 123D there, looks wicked man!)

It's not a case of how many table maps that have been change
It's a case of know which ones to do and what holds these cars back and the not going it to limp mode

Have a look at Kieran120d

I got his car to 213bhp without adding any fuel or boost just by finding the limiters red line
