Lowering Question

Post by chinskee » Wed Nov 22, 2017 10:42 am

Hello, just looking for confirmation before i click buy. Will these Eibach's fit my car as it is? ie with existing shocks etc? - My car is a 116i MSport.

https://www.autodoc.co.uk/eibach/1929729
Also is it a hard process for fitting?

I've seen some links to threads on here about lowering but can't seem to find them :/. Cheers guys as always :)

These are the parts suitable for 2013 F20 116i from what I can see from this link

http://www.eibachshop.co.uk/info-part-l ... F12%2F2010

Eibach Pro-Kit Performance Spring Kit E10-20-030-01-22 seems to be the same part number so would say that it looks correct for your car..

I assume you're thinking about DIY fitting?

Garages are quoting around 3-4 hours labour to fit (around £250-300 typical)

Depends if you want to do them yourself, might be worth paying someone to do it, because it's a pain in ass to do yourself!

Thanks for that! My mate has a garage local to me where I'm thinking of going too. Is it quiet labor intensive??
Just seen your update sootyvrs. I have a garage that i can work at with a mechanic and his son, would you say it is worth it??

It lowered my M135i about 25/30, and I assume mine has M suspension

It is a long job, although some garages over quote for time, it shouldn't take more than 4 hours, the rear corners take about 20 mins each, the fronts are a bit of a pain, but for a garage should be no problem!
