M140i at Lancaster BMW Milton Keynes

Post by BillTheButcher » Tue Dec 12, 2017 6:18 pm

Hello all. :)

I'm looking at an M140i that's for sale at Lancaster BMW Milton Keynes. The Google reviews are quite mixed (as they are with a lot of dealers) but I wondered if anyone had personal experience of this garage. They look like a typical manufacturer-approved car supermarket which isn't necessarily a bad thing, I suppose.

Thanks. :)

P.S. My apologies: I've just noticed the dedicated M135i/M235i/M140i/M240i subforum.

I had two services with them before the service pack ran out, first time they forgot to pick me up from work to collect the car, the second they wanted to change all pads and discs

Ahead of the test drive, and knowing next-to-nothing about BMWs, are there any common issues or faults that I should be aware of when I view the car? I've been reading about the exhaust valve rattle. Anything else?

Thanks. :)

Bought my M3 from there. Sales manager was a nice guy to deal with. Would buy again.

Thanks for all the replies. :)

I test drove it this morning and the deal was done shortly afterwards. It's absolutely immaculate and a real pleasure to drive. I'm sorry to see the TTRS go but this is a worthy replacement.
