I dont think different tyres front and rear is generally a good idea. Many report that gives twitchy handling on normal road use. Perhaps thats another reason traction control working overtime on track ?

i did experiment with traction off and did get a no drifting sign so will just be more careful next time and not had many troubles with different tyres but am going to go Michelin pilot super sports all round but for next trackday shall i get different pads or do the same and just turn traction off?

Where did you buy the last pads from, loads of fake Brembo & Pagid pads on the internet currently, they're constantly battling with the counterfeiters.

Maybe have a chat with 'THE TYRANT' if you're going to be doing a few more TD's in future, see if he can make you a full set of Carbotech XP8's.

Don’t take this the wrong way but perhaps consider some performance driving tuition to help you hone yr skills and get more out of a TD whilst probably being kinder on yr car.

Hello mate I have to just say here that if you ever go to a car meet you’ll meet loads of great people. I have. And then you’ll meet some top top guys.

Blind Pugh here is one of those top guys.

So trust me, He’s not saying anything mean or offensive he’s being genuine and offering constructive suggestions on how you maybe put the power down, cornering, braking etc

Advanced driving tuition is some of the best money you'd ever spend, much better than car mods as you naturally take all that lap time from car to car.

Track down Rob Wilson if you're already a bit handy, he coached Montoya, Bottas, Raikkonen, Coulthard, etc.

I had one professional golf lesson 20 years ago and it taught me stuff that is ingrained into my psyche and I still remember to this day.

Golf is so f”@king sh*t

I joke, but he did teach me a hell of a lot in just one lesson.

If you're happy with the pads you have and they're cheap I'd get the same again and turn everything off.

Not sure how folk can comment about your driving standards becasue of this, would happen to any car being used on track with traction left on.
'13 M135i standard.. and will remain so.. I promise... really.. will not modify... or abuse on track..
'91 R32 GTR... basically standard and unmolested... 497 @ rear hubs... never raced nor rallied : https://youtu.be/jhsX0elVG2k
+ some dullness
