Today’s Treatments:Enhancement Detail Finished in G-3 Glasscoat Ceramic.

Here we have a few week old (at the time) new 2012 BMW 1 series. The customer in question travelled from London so this explains its outside appearance before we started.

Wanting something to protect but also enhance, we opted for an Enhancement detail with our G-3 Glasscoat Ceramic paint sealant and Fabric / Leather seal.

Here is the Vehicle after its nice drive to sunny Doncaster:

As you can see, its not too bad.

First it was sprayed with Citrus Pre-wash from ValetPro. At this point the wheels were cleaned with Bilberry.

Once after a rinse, the snow foam was applied:

While the foam was doing its stuff, i worked it into the areas that wanted more attention:

Next was to rinse the foam and using the 2BM and good old wookies fist.

The it was rinsed, dried, clayed and again dried.

Now for some inspection shots.

As you can see, a fair few mix of Swirls, buffer marks. So, Scholl opened heres a nice 50/50.

A Few marks around the car which were given a little more attention.

Nice reflection before the Ceramic was applied.

Still looking greasy as you can see in the photo above. Next comes the de-grease!

At this point, the paint is de-waxed & polished to remove and oils, wax's and most importantly any fillers in the paint. Then it was to the inside which in all honestly needed little attention apart from a few marks and window polished left from the Dealers.

So, with the Ceramic applied, Inside finished and sealed here is what the 1 series looked like after its 9 hour make over.

Dang. How much does a 9 hour job like that cost? I get mad when it takes me more than 5 coins at the local DIY wash center.

Nice work 8) The paint was in an awful state to start with, especially considering it was only a few weeks old!
