Re: Photobucket no longer allowing images to be shared
What's the best site/app to use for photos now.
I tried flickr and Imgur and all the Give us links. Can you not just share the image rather than posting a link

Re: Photobucket no longer allowing images to be shared
I'm lost with uploading photos onto here now. I've tried imgur but it only shows tiny images not full scale and the forums attachment won't let me upload any photos it just says there too large

Yup, I've had to resize loads of mine (and re-save from .png to .jpg) in MS Paint!Williams327 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 31, 2017 9:46 amI'm lost with uploading photos onto here now. Re: Photobucket no longer allowing images to be shared
I've only re-loaded one photo so far to try out the new attachment feature.
Scaled it down to 900x600 pixels (232kb jpg) and it was fine.

POSTING PICTURES SOLVED RIGHT EREEEEEEEEEEEE BLOOD!
(I hope this doesn't fail

What you need to do is.
1. Join imgur.com then upload what you wanna upload.
2. once uploaded to imgur and you want to post. right click the image/picture and copy the image address or copy the direct link on the right hand side of the page.

3. Go into your post/thread you are writing and paste the link, highlight the link then press the img button between hyperlink button and list function button

This will header and footer your link [iimg] link [/img]
And thats it!!!
Viola!!!!
ENJOY

If you copy address and the image button doesn't show the image, this could be becaused you copied link address and got https://imgur.com/10ANQW0b
difference in the link is just "i." before imgur.com followed by the .jpg or .png a the end
for example
https://imgur.com/URy4faI becomes https://i.imgur.com/URy4faI.jpg
Then you wrap the corrected text using the image button
Re: Photobucket no longer allowing images to be shared
you can't edit photos like in photobucket though I don't think.
Haven't played with it much though. enjoy

I always go on the site from my phone so can't seem to do the instructions about Imgur above.
Can't resize them either!!!

Re: Photobucket no longer allowing images to be shared
This has worked fine for me. Thanks for that.
Has anyone got any ideas on how to post videos? Or is YouTube the best option for this?

Re: Photobucket no longer allowing images to be shared
Can't get the image loader to work. There's no information on maximum size. So I don't know what size to reduce it too.

Re: Photobucket no longer allowing images to be shared
What's the maximum size for an attached image please Colin? Lots of people struggling with this, me included.babybmwadmin wrote: ↑Fri Jun 30, 2017 11:06 amNew Post with attachment, you will see this at the bottom:
Screen Shot 2017-06-30 at 11.03.53.png
When you click the Attachments, you can drag the file onto the message window, or Click the Add files button.
If you place the cursor in your post, and click the Place inline button, it will place the image at that point.
In the User Control Panel, you can manage all you attachments.
