I finally gave up and downloaded all my photobucket pics and then closed my account. It's very rare indeed that I go to the trouble of fully deleting an account on a site so it makes me wonder how many users they've lost as a result of this policy change.

The last few pics I uploaded was a horrible experience, repeated pop ups, autoplay adverts and auto-redirects.

End of year I give it before it goes broke or gets sold for a pittance.
Have moved to Tinypic which seems to do the same as photophucket but with the addition of automatically putting your uploaded pics into a public shared album

Attachments have now been added, there's a tab down the bottom.

.png files are usually too big, but .jpg seem to work properly so far.
Still a ridiculous size though - I can't get my Avatar pic to be accepted despite making it smaller than the demanded size in both pixels AND Mb
What dimensions are the avatar and what size is it?

The exact size the system says it has to be.
Have re-sized it so many times it's a joke!

Ditto with the Avatar since I joined the Forum.
Email me the actual avatar file you have an issue with, and I will take a look.
I can do nothing without being able to replicate the issue.

One point, the size of the avatar is in Kb Not Mb.
12kb is the max.
Not twelve megabytes.

Thanks.

Mental isn't it, what kind of business model is that?! Out of business in a year I reckon, download any precious images you have only on there.

How they think people are going to pay that is just stupid,
Only really used it for posting photos on here.

Its a massive shame for all forums, all those "how to" help post with photos all useless in one foul swoop.
