Totally missed this thread, as I was in Whistler for most of September. :D

Here's the bike:
Image
Evil Wreckoning, Fox 36/X2, SRAM Eagle, LB Carbon rims & Hope Hubs, XTR Brakes and on my 3rd set of pedals after 14 months!

Here's my other transportation vehicle!!
Image
We did get that to the top of Rainbow Mountain

Seriously tho, this is what we drive to the Alps..
Image

I've been riding for about 6-7 years, try to get away to Italy/France/Whistler once a year at least. Most weekends I'll ride somewhere like FOD or Afan or just stick local if the weather isn't great.

This one is from a couple of years ago, so much faster now. This is when we actually made it to Pila, unlike the following year when the Starter Motor fell off and the handbrake didn't work!

We’ll be going to the WR this summer :)
Not Zakspeed, but it was an original Janspeed Turbo. The turbo was removed many years ago, so it didn’t burn to the ground. My friend still has the original low compression block, we may put a turbo on it at some point. At the moment it’s just got a standard 2L pinto with 33/36 carb at the mo which is perfect for driving across France. We have had many talks of what engine to put in, Cosworth, S2000, ST180, SR20DET but we don’t have that much spare time!

Just so you know, I hate you.
Between the helicopter and the ford, I hate you ;)
When you say Afan I assume you mean masts?

Actually that's a point. Should really say where we ride.
Mainly Surrey hills, a bit of Woburn and some south Wales when I can.

Mainly Surrey hills.
Me too! However, I’m not really propper :(
I bought a MTB for fitness last spring and rode every day. I found myself more and more on tracks and lanes though, so just sold that for a carbon crosstrail.

Still in the Surrey hills though :)

If its any consolation I don't own the Ford, I just get to help out with the spannering and drive it! I haven't heard of Afan being called masts, but after a quick Google. Yes Afan/Masts, really like Whites.

Got some good riding down here is Cornwall / Devon if you know where to look.

Where abouts are you based down here? I'm Plymouth way and tend to usually hit Cardinham or Gawton Gravity trails, anywhere else you'd reccomend?
