Hi, I'm Ash, just bought my M140i, previous cars were M135i, F30 330d, X5, mk6 Golf Gti, Focus st, Vr6, E30 touring to name a few, also had loads of air cooled VWs. Still own a mk2 golf gti 16v I spend far too much time keeping my cars clean when I should be out driving them

Live Leicestershire/Northamptonshire so would like to know of any local meets.

Alright peeps, names Torben, just posted in the 240i image section as picked up my motor last night.

Had loads of sh*t cars past and present. Had a Williams Clio back int day, loads of sh*t cars after that then got a mint mk5 R32 a few years back that's all over r32oc, after that I got an A45 AMG which I loved and ran for 3 years then part ex'd it for the bmw so here I am....

I'm.too old for meets for the most part but don't mind chatting a bit of bollocks on forums

Hi all,

Not long joined so thought I'd pop in and say hello.

Just about to pull the trigger on a new (pre-registered) M140i. Have paid the deposit and should be sorting the rest this weekend so looking forward to picking it up hopefully next week.

Am coming from a Fiesta ST, which has been a surprisingly great car. Am probably a bit too old now but it was a bit of a blast back to my hot hatch days of the late 80's/early 90's but am now feeling the need for something a tad more 'grown up' and more suited to the motorway commute I do each day. The 140 seemed a perfect choice, retaining some of the 'hot hatch' idea but with loads of torque and way more refined for when the missus is in the car and the dogs in the back.

Anyway, already been checking out possibilities of the Bluespark box or JB4 so am sure will be hanging around to see how things develop.

Well I’m back!

After selling my LCI M135i and buying a Jag XE R sport diesel I have come back. 6 months of poor quality jag, electrical issues, software problems, build quality woes and 11 visits to the garage the car has gone back as not fit for purpose. I’ve not gone 1 or 2 series, I’ve gone and purchased a 67, 335D Xdrive Msport with literally everything!! Pick it up tomorrow and I can’t wait to be back in a fast BMW again. Wish me luck!!

Evening all! Name's Sam (guy), 28, live in Plymouth but work everywhere but...probably away 8 months of every year and expecting first child in a couple of weeks.

Drive a 2014 F20 118d which has just been remapped at the same time I fitted an ISOFIX base and car seat...opposing ideas. Love the Bimmer due to the economy (most of the time) and looks.

Car history from initial test pass in 2007 was (no one asked but saw someone else post so thought why not and it should provide a few laughs)

1) 96 reg 1.2 Corsa
2) 05 reg 1.2 Corsa
3) 02 2l TDCI Mondeo
4) 03 S2000 GT
5) 04 Celica 190
6) 118d... Which I plan on keeping for a fair few years

Hi all,

My names Richard, but ricc is fine (not rick because it’s too close to d*** :roll: ), I’m from the Northants area.

I will be 37 shortly and have treated myself to a new M140i Shadow in white. All being well I will pick it up on or before my birthday in December. Not many options ticked, but having been given a demo car for a weekend I fell in love :oops: :P

Previous cars include several old Fiesta’s (including a 1.1 popular plus!), a modified Rover 200 diseasel, Toyota Corolla T-Sport and most recently a Mini Cooper. Whilst I love fast cars my modifying bug has long since passed, hence I’m now looking forward to a fast car out of the box.
Into the amateur side of detailing, but whilst I am somewhat compulsive about cleaning I’m not sure I’m at the level of some of the people on here!!

Used to be really active with the Corolla community, but found the Mini scene really hard work. I have been stalking this forum for a few weeks and it seems like a cool place! Hopefully I will get to meet some like minded owners at some point.

Hi all and sundry,

Martin from TW20, enjoying being the nut behind the steering wheel of a M135i well kind of, it's the wife's new car and a definite upgrade from the recently outed S3.

Out with the old;

and in with the new;

My daily drive is a 320d M Sport Touring but after the recent straight six jolly japes it will no doubt make way for a 330d (more Taxman / Business use friendly than a 335d!)

I've joined from the Focus ST forums and always been a browser on here.

I'm about to pull the trigger on a deal for a 2016 M135i as I've been an admirer of them for a while. It will come as auto, business nav and harman kardon and red leather. I'll be trading in my ST for it.
