Might be a silly question; can you still drive the car when you've downloaded the original map off the car to send to ecotune? Is it a copy of the cars original map? :?

I've got the email and downloaded the iflash console, just got to wait til tonight to connect the iflash up to send the map off to be modified - fingers crossed I'll get it back over the weekend as I'll be driving the coast road Guisborough to Scarborough - it'll be much more fun with a bit more power!

Yes u can still drive your car as it just makes a copy of your original map

I filled up with V-power last night & took her to harrogate
I was impressed with the fuel consumption after driving hard

Damn you!!

I'm booked in on the 28th for my remap and a power run for before and after figures.
The drive home should be fun. Should I go the long way along the nice mixed A road or the motorway?!

What was your mpg like compared to normal?

So how much better is the consumption? Is the car better to drive?

I really wanted to get the iFlash this group buy but after just spending out on a new **SPAM**, bathroom and windows I couldn't justify the spend this month so will be looking for another group buy at the back end of August..

Installed the iFlash console this morning - now wanting to connect the unit to my laptop but it keeps coming up with "new hardware found..." then tries searching for a driver. :? It won't link to the iflash console.
Any ideas? I'm going to remove the iflash programme and re-install it...

U need to be connected to the internet to let ur pc install the driver

My average MPG has increase by 4-5 even when driving hard

Car feels alot smoother through the rev range , throttle response is alot more sensetive.

Think i need to upgrade the brakes now

It is connected to the internet, stans currently trying to work out why it won't connect-all done remotely! :D

** EDIT **

Stan is an absolute legend! He tried for nearly an hour trying to get my laptop to recognise the iFlash unit - turns out my laptop is stupid (technical term) so decided to use another laptop - hey presto! All worked fine and the map has been sent away to be mod'd! :D

THANK YOU STAN!! 8) 8)

Quite often these programs are sensitive to whether you have 64 bit vs. 32 bit Windows. Typically they don't like 64 bit.
