Hey man, hows the car going? How many miles have you made with the new pump/rail setup?
Any news regarding +40% nozzles you mentioned?

Cheers

Nope no news on nozzles the company keep fobbing me off... theres still fuel left to get from the stock ones though its just no air left from the turbos. Rail and pump been on since end of jan no issues at all

and the tranny? it should hold up to 530 Nm, but you see over 650 Nm... do you use your serial clutch or an uprated one?

+ another thing - could you reuse the original 123d injector steel feed pipes, or did you have to get the ones from a 6 cylinder?
please if you can reply asap, I'm doing the upgrade tomorrow and have no 6cyl lines ready...only the 2 from the pump to the rail.

thanks..

Gear box and clutch are still going strong as stock but i had to do th cdv mod because i got a clutch burning smell when driven hard... that had stopped now. 2 4 cylinder and 2 6 cylinder rail to injector pipes are needed because the ports off the rail are in different positions

I've fitted the pump, and things are a little bit more tricky in my case.

Maybe the pump i've got is slightly different than the one you've got because i've had to modify the support between the pump and the engine bloc.

For the rail, i've bought two 4cyl. rail from eBay cut and weld them to keep the standard fuel line.

And fitting everything was a real pain (note that i work outside, after my work in a really rainy country it make things even worse) bending the pipe is an horrible job, i've should have ordered the wrong pipe, so i've got to bend the two pipe (no time to reorder another, it's my daily car and i've not 3-4 days to spend).

For the EGR pipe i've juste blanked it. (cut, crush, weld, refit)

However everything is okay and running, i'm gonna make the map in the first half of july...

Oh really i used the 335d support bracket and it fit it was a bit tight and fiddly but not too bad. Not a bad idea with the fuel rails as long as it all fits and works

The support i received with the pump doesn't fitting on my engine, i've got luck

By the way, even if things didn't go exactly as planned, thanks a lot Typergaz for your help

So im getting strange new error codes with my new remap, and the tuner doesn't know what could be the problem.
It seems like the ECU wants to communicate with the automatic transmission ecu (as manual trannys don't have ecus), and there is some kind of torque limiter error...
Does anyone know what these codes would mean?

4DF3: (torque transmission,0xB5)
4BE3: message (gearbox data, 0xBA)
4BE8: message (gearbox data 2, 0x1A2)
4DDD ?

The guys at other forums say the codes show up because of a missing gearbox... wtf?

Have you guys logged EGT temperatures and how up do they go with this mod?

I've been making a bit research about how to fit 125d intake manifold (no 180 degree turn) to this 123d engine. It seems the alternator is way higher than in the 125d version and theres also difference in the flapcontrol location.

The 123d:s chargepipe have this section that is flattened in the front. And also the volume of the piping will effect on turbo lag hence power in this dual turbo setup.

Is the airmass meter bigger in bigger dieselengines?
