Hi,

I have an Alpina D3 Bi-turbo 2009 it has the same engine just like the 123d.
Now it's stock, i have to mount my intercooler from 335d and downpipe (allready bought en leftovers from other projects).
I read the topics a few time's but i stil have some questions.
the tuned cars are before 2010 or after 2010?
Because my car is 2009 i have the pre lift injectors en the less powerfull turbo's
I can change the injectors from facelift model with end number 461 (facelift)
For about 300HP is it enough to put the cp4.2 pump from 330d? n57 engine
and modify the fuelrail? Do i need another external regulator and 335 pcv?

has anybody tried the 325d f30 hpfp? its also a n47 engine but with more power. the hpfp has also a different number..

Sorry for al this questions..

Greetings from Holland! :)

Yes the 325d is the same pump as the 125d and better pump its a l40 where the 123d is a l35 so will flow enough for 300 bhp easy best pump though is the 4.2 off the n57 335d it should come with a pcv so nothing to change there. I tried the 335d intercooler and the pipe connections are different size so hard to modify to fit best off with the wagner

Typergaz thank's for your reply!

So, the best way is to buy a 335d n57 pump and modify the rail. But the second option is a 325d hpfp from a f30 and put in the 335d pcv
I have an Alpina D3 it has allready an 330d intercooler with the bigger connections. The 335 cooler wil fit with no problems :)

No needs for changing fuelpressure rail sensor? t0 read the higher values?
My stock injectors can handle this?

P.S. Typergaz your car was before or after 2010?

My car was December 2009 so had bigger gains to start with. My 335d rail came with regulator and sensor so i used them same with the n57 4.2 pump came with pcv so used that

Basically the injectors are the same between every 123D and Alpina D3, so i don't really see the interest in changing them.

For fuel pump yes you could take any fuel pump from an N57 as they are all twin pistons pump but imo i'd take minimum 35/40d fuel pump because their nominal pressure meet or excess the rail pressure of a 123/D3. (I've always preferred a little bit too much than a little bit not enought :D)

L3gion,

I have bought 461 injectors and the hpfp they are from the 4.0d engine 313hp. So fuel i will have enough :)
I have 2 n47 rails that would be cut and welded together to make the extra connection
The only problem is that the hpfp has one high presure exit to the clutch side and one to the front of te car. but i think it's no problem to dismount the cover and turn it 180 degrees. My tuner said i also need the M550d rail presure sensor.

somewhere in the spring it wil be finished and i will post the results 8)

I used 2014 335d pump and bracket on mine. I used the n57 rail and chopped 2 ports out and welded back together and used the 335d regulator and pressure sensor. Still had loads of fuel left to give at 338 bhp it was the standard turbos that were letting it down. The 550d runs 2200 bar fuel pressure which is not needed

Legion you have got the wrong pump i believe its not as simple as just turning the plunger round as they have the feed from the pump to the plunger and turning it 180 would effectively cap off the fuel feed
