For anyone interested, the original Stage 2 map shown in red on the below graph was done by Elite Remaps in Leeds and it was a simple ECU remap on stock hardware. Their claimed BHP was 255-270... Not surprisingly it achieved less, 248bhp.

Andrew presuming you have removed the DPF to get those figures? I can't scroll back past this page to see any previous posts with your mods!

My limit in the stock turbos was 2.9bar anymore and it lost power. Have you upgtaded your intercooler yet?

Yeah it's a copy of the Wagner one. No doubt not quite as good but I asked Paul the mapper and he said intake temps were reasonable, not particularly low but not high enough to cause any problems or significant power loss like the stock one! Not sure if there's anything else causing the turbos to hit maximum flow rate at 2.4Bar, the swirl flaps were removed and intake chemically cleaned so no real carbon build up anywhere. Might just be luck of the draw with the turbos tbh, production date on mine is December 2009.

Mine was december 2009 aswel. My intake temps were low considering 2.9bar.. when stan was mapping mine for the last time he tried 3.2 bar but it made a lot less power than at 2.9bar settled at 338 bhp and 485ftlbs. I got 298 bhp on stock fuel pump at 2.4 bar boost just modified slightly to stop it draining the rail..

I'm back in to see Paul tomorrow to sort the EGR software out so will ask what the actual peak intake temps were to double check. Another factor at play could well be rolling road tolerance. Before I had the map done Paul outright told me their dyno dynamics RR usually reads tight and he thinks it could well be anywhere from 10-30bhp lower than Ecotunes based on his experience with cars that have been to both. I can't confirm that though personally, it's only from his experience.

I know Paul did speak to Stan while doing the map so I can't imagine there's much more power left to get out as is. Just not sure why mine hit max power at 2.4 Bar and not more.

Not sure like i say mine was 2.4 bar at stage 2+ and 2.9 at stage 3. Stans dyno cant be that far out because it made 20+ dyno runs that day getting the calibration right and it was allways 335-338 bhp. I then put it on a local dyno on a dyno day to test figures and it made 335 so pretty much the same.

Finally got to Ecotune on Friday
And what a hot day, it was 29° which  wasn't great.
Anyway, it dyno at 305bhp and 455lbft torque. Image
First run was 265bhp with the stage 2 map that was already on the car,
 then Stan started his stuff.
After increasing the rail pressure to 2150 bar the engine management light came on, so he backed it off to 2100 bar (I had ran adaptations after fitting the pump and rail job).
After a good few runs he finished with 305bhp at 2.6bar boost and some decent torque.
Mine being an earlier car (Jan 08) was never going to make the power that the later models do but I have to say it feels incredible now and I feel this mod has allowed my car a good power increase for a relatively small outlay.
Even managed 50mpg average on the 4 hour journey home, mostly motorway. 8)

Next week finely i will fit my 4.0d fuel pump and injectors, custom inlet,intercooler from 335, new timing chain set and 2 brand new turbos. No dpf and egr on my Alpina d3 biturbo. I have the same engine as the 123d. Fingers crossed..

Done my car yesterday, is really fast. Wil do a dyno soon. We had only a problem with the turbo's. The where making to much boost. Stock it had 2.1 bar. Now its stable at 2.3. With more fuel turbo's went in overboost (more than 2.7 bar) i think the wastegate's are to small.
Turbos are brand new oem.

Dyno'd my car. Made 266 hp and 550nm. The problem is when we are giving more fuel the turbos are making more than 2.5-2.7 bar of boost. Now at 266hp i have 2.3 bar. What kind of boost can i run and not blow my turbo's or what kan i do to make the turbos less boost by more fuel?

Yes boost creep is an issue. Stan had my turbos running at 3.2 bar but it didnt make anymore power than 2.9bar which he said was optimum. Mine made 299 bhp @ 2.4 bar
