My Experience with M Style - Shocking Service.

I finally got round to pulling my finger out and ordering the Lumma CLR-M Splitter for my E87. Despite the reputation you guys have online, I decided to take a chance and purchase with you as I personally knew two people that purchased items through you and vouched for you. What a mistake that was...

I paid a deposit on the 3rd of March 2017 for said splitter.

I was then told on the 6th of March that it was discontinued at the beginning of the year. Lumma also confirmed this when I contacted them as I really wanted to get my hands on the splitter. Anyway, you'd think the website and staff would be kept up to date with whether the item can actually be had or not? I guess not but they have a lot of items so I can't complain much here.

On the 6th of March I asked for a refund. I was told it would be 5 working days. 5 working days passed. Still no refund. So I called up on the 10th to ask what the delay was. I was then told we'll look into it and give you a call back. No call back.

I called up on the 13th of March 2017 to be told, we'll look into it and give you a call back. No call back.
I called up on the 14th of March 2017 again to be told the same thing. No call back.
I called up on the 15th of March 2017 again and was told that the refund was processed but was in pending.
Refund landed on the 16th of March 2017.

My advice, if you're going to order first make sure that it is in stock and physically go and collect it and pay. The chap I dealt with at M Style said it was still available, although it was special order, until 3 days later when it wasn't. Which is fair enough, large catalogue, can't keep tabs on everything. But the refund should not have taken double the time.

I wouldn't use you again or recommend you.

They are so bad it's barely believable!

They could have walked over to the PDQ machine and 'Processed' your refund in about 90seconds!
I guess they hope you'll forget about it and let them keep the money?

Shower of sh*te that they are!

Yeah! They're terrible. I have no idea how they're still in business to be honest.

Phone calls were never returned, no explanation why it took so long, 3 days to confirm it was discontinued (when I e-mailed Lumma, they confirmed it within 2 hours or so) so no idea why there was a 3 day delay in finding out/telling me.

It's just a shame that nobody else does that splitter but I have a Plan B to make my own, and that Plan B is in motion, already ordered a set of side splitters to use as my basis. They've already been shipped from Germany and a tracking number provided.

DO NOT USE M STYLE!!!

I wouldn't even use them if I was told the parts were in stock and available for me to collect.

I turned up one day when they told me they'd definitely be open and they were shut.

They never call back, shocking service really.

They will surface here eventually and have this thread removed, as they normally do

Exactly, the amount of money they could make from this forum alone. Let alone all the other BMW forums out there.

Even their e-mail service is just sh*t. It's a general issue with them.

Really? They do that? I know Jason at BW Chiptune does.
