Thanks for that, I'll chase it up with the dealer the documentation isn't very clear. Did you also go for oyster? I was worried the colours would clash but it is not as bad as I had feared.

Here's another pic:

SO is a fantastic colour and in the right light looks better than VO

but this picture here is basically why I prefer VO overall.. to me in that picture it looks red :(

But don't get me wrong it looks amazing!

Great looking car. One of the few colours which black wheels go really well with although I'd be tempted to change the ferric bits black too.

I went for black interior. Have a child incoming and didn't think oyster leather would mix well with that. Also i agree about the aluminium trim. Don't personally like any of the options other than the black gloss with pearl chrome. Not sure what I will do about the ferric grey trim, I think black would b better but the grey helps identify it as an Mlite

Loving the photos guys! I'm sure the photos don't do the cars any justice at all! Looking at the SO over VO and the SO looks more brown in the shade than red imho. Like VO it looks completely different in direct sunlight. Congrats to all on the new purchases! :fest: Looking forward to more from everyone else on their dealer's waiting list! :spotman:

Interior in case anyone is interested. I think the aluminium hexagon trim may have been a mistake and other options might look better.

Has to be gloss black for me with oyster.

Problem with gloss black is it shows every mark, I agree it may look a little better on the dash but I picked brushed ali as that doesn't show the dust and fingerprints and I like it more on the door handles and around the idrive controller, it also brightens up the inside a little

I had brushed aluminium in my TT and also work with it, it's very nice to look at but one single scratch that goes against the grain of the brush and it sticks out like a sore thumb and looks horrendous.

Evening all.

First post in this thread after a few tweaks courtesy of the very kind, generous and good looking Mike/Tricky401 for the wheels and spacers.

Now the decision to talk to Motech for some springs and brake pads.

Very nice on the 405m , defo requires a drop though , 15mm looks perfect on 19"s as tricky had on your wheels .

I've ordered Oyster on my Shadow Edition and have to say I'm disappointed that the plastics on the base and back of the seat aren't black. Looks so much better...
