Milltek M140 Valved system

Post by Spin » Mon Sep 25, 2017 1:17 pm

Hi all,
my original M135 was used for a cat back development back in 2013 and having just sold my MPE prematurely on my latest M140 I'm considering other options.

Does anyone have any experience of this latest system as I understand its available with ValveSonic Plus Controller and Loom for BMW which gives adjustability via a phone app on when the valve opens etc.

I can get the whole system inc sport cat 300 cell at a good price but wondered if anyone on here had one fitted that could share the experience.

I'd like a little more sound than the MPE and no drone :)

Thanks

No experience with the millek, however I do have the full BCS system and it's a monster when you are on full power lots of pop's and bangs.

Spin - may be worth looking at Remus, as they make 2 versions of their 40i CBE exhaust - talk to Mike at Motech - he can fill you in on the details and supply/fit CBE. BP

Mike came back to me and cat back 'valved' is £1,200 RRP - £1,500 if carbon tips.

It may sound like a lot but quality and sound are good and remember this is a full system not a cut and shut as per our MPE option.

I'm still undecided which route to go down but I know that as good as the oem car sounds in comparison to its 4 pot competitors it badly needs a bit more attitude.

Motech have a 10% babybmw discount which may help :)

I like the sound of a valved system where you have control when you want to be obnoxious...

Is the control via Bluetooth or BMW ecu controlled?

My brother has one, switched, on his RS6. Highly recommended.
