Boot latch badge

Post by Philiper » Mon Sep 25, 2017 6:22 pm

Has anybody had corrosion on this part? I just noticed mine has a white mark on the top of the M on the badge!

I will send a note to my local dealer to see what they'll come back with

Mine seems to be the top of the actual badge, looks like it can be replaced on its own - part 5

Mine is the same. Looks like aluminium corrosion, I don't think its aluminium but I may be wrong.

Same as the above - I showed the service manager when my car was in for its first service and they will swap it out under warranty (mine has corrosion in small patches all the way around the emblem). I've decided to leave it for winter and get it sorted in the spring (along with my exhaust tips).

heard back from dealer, they will have to put a warranty claim but it should be okay and not a problem as it is nothing I could have done! so should be changed fine
