Thanks for the clarification. Surprising and disappointing in equal measure as I was pretty set on the PS4! Wet and cold weather performance is important to me and that's where I hear the PS4 is stronger than PSS.

Wonder if it's worth waiting for PS4S in March then....

Just checking but if you are hoping for 18 inch PS4S they
Are not being produced full stop.. Michellin confirmed to me today.
Damn! Was considering waiting for them until this March date which I've heard.

PSS, PS4 or GYA3 it is then!

Yep, I emailed Michelin last week and they confirmed they would not be producing 18" PS4S in the near future.

I'm on Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3's currently, and they have a slightly soft sidewall too. Less noise, more wet grip, more comfort, softer turn-in.
I just got a set of these too, had a deal on tyres on the drive and they were £420 for four.
They might not be as good as the PSS when you're really pushing on but day to day they are so much nicer to live with.
Quieter, grippier in the wet, hard to spin in the dry, they don't grab at every imperfection in the road and have a harder shoulder which should help with the shoulder wear the M135i suffers with. They are slightly firmer over bumps but being 92's, that's expected?

What size are people running on the PS4 for the rear?
There is no such thing as 245/35/18 for the PS4.

Lucky b**tards!!

Apologies, I didn't realise different countries would have different sizes.

Ignore me.

Yes, from what I've read it appears the US has the MP4s in 18" fitment that we so desire in the U.K.

Based on what I could actually get I have just ordered f1 assy 3's.

They seem reasonably well regarded from what i have read. Worked out at 430 fitted all round.

The current mpss rears at 21k are down to 2mm and shocking with the greasy damp roads. Front are at 3mm.

Lasted quite well though.

That’s a good price! Where was that from?

Formula one autocentres. Using the bristol branch and ordering on line.

133.60 for the rears. 91.55 for the fronts. Total 450.30. Code "COMPA2015" gave 8 quid to 442.30 and top cashback 11.62 to 430.68.

I've had Eagle F1's on my last car (325d touring) and they were good all round.

Hi guys. I'm new to the forum but I've been reading it for a while. Hopefully to soon join you as an owner of Mlite. But I do have a question for you. What are the official dimensions for tyres for m135? From what I 've read on these forum it's 225/45 r17, 225/45r18 and 245/35r18. Could you please help me clarify this, or if someone has a picture from the car of all the official dimensions (sticker from door frame).

Thank you

Front - 225/40 r18
Rear - 245/35 r18

225/45 r18 would be too tall, don't invest in any of those!

That was quick :) Thank you. But that can't be only bmw approved dimension, can it? I'm also interested in there is any 17 option (for the winter).
