For me the X3 is too big and heavy for it to be worth having the MPerformance engine.
Don't get me wrong, it is a nice looking car and I can see the attraction of it but for me I think I'd quickly get fed up with it and end up back in an Mlite.
It's a yes for me. Looking at changing the M135 this year. Currently looking at X3 M40i or a Porsche Macan S. Gotta say the X3 is getting my vote out of the two.
It will be the family car as I have my M2 for the fun!!

I do work in marketing and I think they're pointless. SUVs are a stupid arms race making car bigger and heavier when the only rational solution to the challenges we as a nation face is for vehicles to be smaller and lighter.
It's a yes from me too, but then I already have one waiting to be picked up from TRL. He put a little video of the exhaust burbling on mine on his Instagram a week or so ago. I was thinking of a quick-ish estate to replace both an M235i and an old Honda CRV, but the other half likes SUVs and the X3 M40i pretty much ticks all the boxes right now. Cannot wait to go and get it...
Although the interior looks nice and more in line with the new 5-series, i've never been a fan of SUV's so it's a no from me, especially for the money!
