My wife picked up her second brand new BMW from TRL a couple of weeks ago.
She swapped her Mineral Grey M135i for this Mineral White beauty.
The metallic flake in Mineral White is very subtle; it doesn't look metallic unless in bright sunshine, but the upside is it retains a very pure white colour, unlike a lot of metallic whites which end up looking too pearly.
She kept Coral Red leather, which we both had on our respective M135is, and on my advice followed my M140i by going for black 719Ms despite them being a cost option on the M240i, whereas it was a free of charge option on my Shadow Edition.
As the recent price rise bumped her car over the £40,500 threshold anyway, she made a late addition of the heated steering wheel which she wanted all along but omitted originally to keep the price below the tax boundary.
Manual (good girl!), Pro Media, Apple Car Play and Adaptive Suspension (which she really likes having had the passive set up on her M135i) were her main options.
Tony was fantastic to deal with as usual. This is the 5th car either we or close family and friends have bought from him!
The lack of hassle factor just giving the M135i back to him was a godsend.
He even gave her a lovely bouquet of flowers which made me very jealous as I didn't get any when I took delivery of my M140...
But the upside was the wife decided she should hold them in the passenger seat to avoid spillage, so I was the first to drive her car home!
Have to say it hasn't done many miles since, seeing as we have a dog as well as 2 kids, so my 1er is the family car and she does few miles by herself.
But she loves it, and that's what matters.
With her birthday coming up, I've decided her car is going to be treated to the M Performance side decals and black grilles and a carbon bootlid spoiler. We both agree a white car really needs the black accents to lift it, especially with the black 719M wheels, which look fantastic.
