I havent got any 'before' pics but you should be able to see what they look like from threads on here.

My car is f*cking filthy! haha - I'm going to wait for it to get a bit worse then speak to BCS I think. I'm sure they'll be obliging - I think they have a lifetime warranty.

Yes I missed out on some on ebay, thats how I found out you can fit them.

But I have also got a price from the dealers for M Performace tips to fit the factory box, but I would keep the standard diffuser.

Have you got a photo of how yours looks?

The diffuser definitely looks far sharper with the centre section painted, especially on lighter-coloured cars.

I'm yet to receive my M235i, 6 weeks to go.. and I am already concerned about the black OEM exhaust tips rusting and looking pitted. We have a couple of M135i's at my work and I don't know if people just don't bother cleaning them because they are black, but they always look a bit naff.

I have read/seen that people have fitted 435i chrome exhaust tips or M Performance Tips to the OEM Box.

What are people experience/advice?
My M235i hasn't arrived yet, but I am going to have the stock exhaust left on, but change the tips for the chrome ones, and the new defuser.

The main dealer I have ordered the car from have quoted £654.68 fitted for the above

Was that including painting the diffuser? Very expensive otherwise. I paid £386 for mine with tips and then had it fitted at the bodyshop that painted it for £20 extra. They do have to cut the stock exhaust a little to get the the new tips on according to the fitting guide.

No it was unpainted (I personally prefer it unpainted)

The price breakdown was:

Part No - B51.19.2.343.355 Rear Diffusor - £265
Part No - B18.30.2.354.364 M Performance Tips - £85.84, each £171.68
Part No - B18.30.2.287.042 Intermediate - £44.69 (Parts department advised I needed this)

Labour for this job was £64.20

Total - £545.57 ex VAT (£654.68 inc VAT)

Did you get yours from a main dealer?

I have never bought anything from their parts department. Do they charge a standard price or is it worth shopping around?

I got quoted from the main dealers "Intermediate exhaust which is £53.69 & Chrome tip £206.01 for both." I would of fit them myself, But I didn't realise you had to cut the OEM pipes, I assume this is only an inch or so the tips don't stick too far out? do you have the fitting guide??

My prices included the vat by the way.

I purchased all my exterior parts from Lloyd bmw Carlisle and gad the shipped to me for that price. They couldn't beat Cotswolds price on the interior trim so went with them.

From memory the cut was about an inch yes but unfortunately I don't have the fitting guide any longer. The cut would also be different for non diffuser install I think. I'm sure your supplying dealer would get the fitting guide for you too.
