One more sleep to go...

Post by Nige1 » Wed Jan 11, 2017 4:31 pm

After having waited the best oart of a year for a car that didn't turn up (thanks Ford) and being without a car for 3 months i am now only one sleep away from picking up my new m140

Feel like a kid at Christmas (well maybe not as excited as mine were 6am Christmas morning but you get the point!)

Picking it up from Tony at 11am and hoping the snow holds off until I'm home...

Been reading about / looking at everyones cars on here for months now so can't wait!

If he's been waiting a year I'd imagine it's the focus RS. I'm sure the RS is ace but fords customer service is shocking. You'll be much better off with BMW ;)

One more sleep to go...

Post by GaryB1972 » Wed Jan 11, 2017 7:52 pm

I got excited in August picking up a brand new Skoda Citigo Colour Edition in black that I use for my 16 mile round commute in traffic. When I collect my M140 on the 01/03 I'll be equally excited and both my cars will give me a smile in their own special way. And before anyone laughs, the Citigo is unbeatable in town traffic

150 mile drive home should help. Have around 1000 miles to do next week so it'll get run in quick!

Yes it was a focus RS, dont reject swapping to m140 at all

Good stuff Nige, enjoy - give my best to Tony, he will keep you right.

It was 425 miles home for me after the same travel there in my M135i trade in. Great cars

What was the delay with the RS? I bet you saved a few quid on the 140 too? The RS is nice and being a former focus RS owner I know the cult following the brand has but for me at 37 the 135 is a much more grown up car in my opinion, had i of been 25 again I'd be all over the RS.
