Visually it needs to come down a bit, a fatter rear tyre and the exhaust tips tucked in then I'll be happy.

LOVE the GS - such a shame they culled it as an option
65 plate F20 M135i / MG / auto / pro nav / full comfort pack / black panel / speaker upgrade / heated seats / folding mirrors / sun protection / Eibach Pro's / F21 tension strut / black grilles, splitter, side blades + blacked out diffuser / full de-badge

I have gone for the gloss black as I know from working with Aluminium it is so easy to scratch and it will stand out like crazy especially to those of us with a slight case of OCD. The issue with the gloss black is the dust and fingerprints but it is nothing a quick wipe down will not fix.
Gloss black gets hairline scratches like you would not believe! (so I am told)

Agree wood is a funny one for a car like this
Would these be possible to repair? We have this on our X1 but no scratches so far.
It does scratch incredibly easily and, although I love the look, it does make me almost regret getting it on my shadow. Scratches do reduce with a polish but all but the very lightest are impossible to get rid of completely (imho). I use autoglym super resin on it when it gets to the point of driving my OCD completely crazy.
My advice, avoid touching as much as possible and if you need to wipe down then use something like a lens cleaner solution and a v fine clean\new microfibre cloth (like a quality lens microfibre). Whatever you do don't use a dry rougher microfibre as even the best (I generally use dodo juice cloths) will risk scratching.
Would love to hear other advice (perhaps on the detailing thread) if people have it.

Suppose if it does get horrific in my Shadow, could always use it as an excuse to swap out for M Performance parts.

They are authentic Volk TE37s.
It is an older set that have been refinished so the paint isn't original.
Specs are
18x8.5 et35
18x9.5 et50
Using the original tyres for now which is why they look a little stretched.

The car actually came with two sets of wheels (other set below), but I had the Volks laying around from a previous car and wanted to try them.

Worth the wait, 500 mile road trip this weekend for a good run in :beerchug:

Copy and paste from my post on another thread. Thanks to Lisa from Partridge BMW Southampton for delivery this amazing car. They were also kind enough to fit the AutoID Carbon mirrors before delivery and I think they fit the car nicely when compared to the Ferric Grey ones. I'm looking forward to this weekend now!

Collected mine this morning - I think this might be the first one in Sapphire Black with Cognac in the pics thread. Absolutely love this colour combo - our previous M135i was SB/Coral and we were nervous about Cognac, but its just damned cool in the flesh.. kinda luxurious. Updates for the LCI2/Shadow are very cool - the new (fake) stitched dash, backlit dials etc. Smiling from ear to ear at the moment. Even without pushing things because it's so new, it just feels urgent in the way the power is delivered. Also very happy that we chose a manual too. Don't see what the fuss is about with the new stalks - just work, and take 20 seconds to get used to. Also reckon the HK sound is really impressive. This is a proper machine - will probably spend the afternoon playing with the Pro Media since I've never had anything this modern before

Brilliant Withy1

I too have SB 5Dr Manual on the way, but went with black leather

As always I’m now wishing I had gone your colour as it doesn’t look at all as it did in the configurator - it does indeed look more upmarket

Also missed sunroof and Microsoft Exchange (would have give me integrated Skype) but my bad for spending hours between deciding to swap to this car and then placing an order!

Thanks for posting
