Bimmercode strikes again having payed for itself over and over :)
I was a little worried as this is from a 2014 car and mine is a 2016 car but it works a treat. Image
Looks great.

Is that from an F30? I need to start keeping my eye out for these on eBay.
I was lucky enough to find a RHD f20 one for £350. The 3/4 series ones can be picked up a bit cheaper but obviously have the bit of a gap at the back.
Amazing how much better the standard nav looks with the pro nav screen.

Hey that look great well done!

May I ask what the part number is and where you got it? Been looking into doing it myself but would prefer to avoid going down the F30 screen route thanks to my OCD

Are you linked to your phone? I thought it required an app
Tried the app too and it didn't work but I don't have any of the connected drive app services. It may work if you have those.
Correct, I have pro nav and connected and it works fine. When I get in the car my phone launches the m timer and Spotify apps in the background and they are instantly available in iDrive.

I paid £350, I've seen the 1 series ones on eBay for over £500 though compared to the 3/4 series ones at around £250-£400 the part number is 934626001

Thanks for the info. Could I just ask you to check the part number please? Can't find the existence of 934626001 on realoem or elsewhere.

That's the right part number. On the screen it shows that number but also with BM in front of it, maybe that's why it won't show up.
